Flyr is coming close to takeoff! To be ready - we will need skilled people to join our Engineering team. As an Aviation Systems Engineer, you will be part of the team responsible for the aircraft's continued airworthiness, condition monitoring and a variety of other tasks. We invite you to contribute with your knowledge and input to create an efficient and positive structure within the department.

The Engineering team duties and responsibility:

  • Developing the Aircraft Maintenance Program
  • The aircraft reliability program
  • Monitor all, and incorporate applicable Airworthiness Directives
  • Evaluate service literature and suggest improvements and modifications to the fleet
  • Prepare and issue instructions and maintenance documentation
  • Monitor the condition of aircraft engines
  • Establish and maintain safety and configuration standards for aircraft, accessories, and material
  • Aircraft phase in/out

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • An engineering degree (BSc/MSc) within aviation. Or another relevant field or experience from aviation maintenance
  • The ability to work in a team, respect for your colleagues and good collaboration skills
  • Good English, and if required, the desire to learn some Norwegian
  • A valid work permit for Norway
  • High motivation and interest in joining our start-up organization

We would prefer if you also have:

  • Work experience in aviation engineering, especially engines or avionics.
  • Work experience with Boeing 737NG
  • Work experience with VBA programming
