Flyr is coming close to takeoff! To be ready - we will need skilled people to join our Planning and Maintenance Control team. As part of the team as a planner or controller, you will be responsible for the aircraft's continued airworthiness, condition monitoring and a variety of other tasks. We invite you to contribute with your knowledge and input to create an efficient and positive structure within the department.

The Planning and MCC teams duties and responsibility:

  • Planning the daily necessary continuing maintenance measures. Including replacement of life-limited parts, the inspection of components according to the AMP, the deferred defects and carried forward defects and tasks
  • Being a daily liaison between the company operational department, Part 145 organization and maintenance support
  • In due time commissioning of maintenance work, including fault elimination by Part-145 Maintenance Organizations
  • Reporting of material requirements like temporary components for planned maintenance, repairs and modifications to Technical Purchasing
  • Support of the safety management system and being active participation in change management and risk assessments
  • Supporting the Production Manager in financial reporting

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • An engineering degree (BSc/MSc) within aviation or another relevant field, or experience from aviation line maintenance, production planning or maintenance operations control
  • The ability to work in a team, respect for your colleagues and good collaboration skills
  • Good English, and if required, the desire to learn some Norwegian
  • A valid work permit for Norway
  • The ability to work shift schedules
  • High motivation and interest in being in joining our start-up organization

We would prefer if you also have:

  • Previous experience in aviation engineering, heavy planning, production control center, maintenance operation control, or general line maintenance
  • Work experience with Boeing 737NG
